A one-day classroom based introductory course into behaviour detection.
This program provides clear principles to enhance situational awareness, allowing staff to identify suspicious items or people. This is achieved through a deeper understanding of how people behave when under stress and why.
The Program introduces attendees to the behavioural cues people exhibit when they have “guilty knowledge” whilst ensuring they are aware of the effects of personal bias and stereotyping.
The Level 1 Program provides simple techniques to target harden your environment and processes to effectively resolve or report on suspicions and concerns
This fundamental level of behavioural detection training provides participants with information on what behaviour detection is and why it works. With subjects such as , identifying baseline behaviours, bias and stereotyping, stress and the effect it has on a person, principles to deter crime in the first place, what behaviours to look for & hostile reconnaissance. Participants are left with practical skills to identify behaviour of people that may be in the area with criminal intent, or be suffering from mental health issues.
Most importantly we provide practical training on how to respond to any anomalous behaviour, whether it be through conversation or alerting security or police. Providing participants with practical conversation skills gives them confidence and the capability to address behaviours as they occur.
These skills combined create a safer environment for your staff, customers and the public.
Training can be conducted in house at your workplace or at the Praesidium Risk and Resilience Training Centre at Shop 8 & 9/338 Camden Valley Way Narellan NSW, 2567
